The Chicago Botanic Garden is becoming a little spooky this Saturday, October 21st, with their Spooky Pooch Parade.  Cleverly dressed canines will be permitted inside the Chicago Botanic Garden for a festive two-hour period. Registration and costume judging begins at 11 AM. Vendors from a variety of local pet supply shops will also be present. The parade starts from the Krasberg Rose Garden, where the activities and costume contest also take place. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and must leave the garden by 2 PM. In addition, or alternatively, continue the fun with more furry friends by attending Boo! at the Zoo located at Chicago Zoological Society’s Brookfield Zoo. This event will runs on October 21st – 22nd and again on October 28th – 29th. Pirates and princesses of all ages are invited to participate in this fun-filled event. Boo! at the Zoo activities will take place from 10 AM to 4 PM. Some of the festivities include a haunted hayride, creepy cowboy carousel, giant pumpkin carver, costume parade, costume contest, owl zoo chat, and much more!
